Douglas R. Hayman, founded Expert Software Systems in 1984. Initially, the main focus of the company was the development of sophisticated database applications in the financial, commercial, and scientific industries. In 1996, Expert Software Systems ventured out onto the Internet, with the creation of web-based database financial applications, that specifically aggregated investment fundamental and technical analysis data. Since 2000, Expert Software Systems has been heavily involved in website design and SEO. This has resulted in creation and support of numerous websites that have been monetized via affiliate marketing campaigns, using search engine optimization techniques. Due to the extreme success of this latter effort, Douglas has decided to go public with his various SEO techniques, via this eBook.
Although Douglas and his staffs’ efforts with Expert Software Systems have been full-time in nature since 2002, Douglas worked in the IT industry for 19 years prior to this. The latter 13 of these years were as a high-level manager for a multi-billion international company, that designed and developed international foreign exchange-based systems for institutional money management professionals.
Educationally, Douglas received a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A) with Honors, in Economics, in May, 1980, from Stony Brook University (in Stony Brook, NY), and a Master’s Degree (M.S.) in Computer Science, in December, 1983, also from Stony Brook University.
As President of Expert Software Systems, Douglas works and resides in Miller Place, NY, located on the North shore of Long Island, NY. He is married with 3 children, and his hobbies include financial investing, budgeting, real estate, many aspects of computer software technology, and all individual and team sports (both as a fan, coach, and participant).
