Roulette Strategy and Roulette Game Rules have been in existence for quite some time. Roulette is a very popular casino game that appears complicated on initially, but after a short introduction to the game, the player wil realize that roulette is a simple, interesting, and quite intriguing game. Roulette was born in 18th century France. Blaise Pascal assembled a rudeimentary form of roulette in the 17th century, in his quest for devising a perpetual motion machine. The actual roulette wheel is believed to be a synthesis of the English wheel games Aces of Hearts, E.O., Roly-Poly, and Reiner, the Italian board games of Biribi and Hoca, and the game of "Roulette" itself, which was a French board game of the same name.
Two major variants of Roulette exist: European Casino Roulette and American Casino Roulette. Each of these has minor, but distinct differences, when you play roulette. Understanding these rules, will enhance your chance of how to win at roulette.
European (or "Single zero") Roulette. has the same wager payoffs as American roulette (see bleow for its description), but lacks the double zero
slots, and the house advantage is definitely not as high in European roulette.
European Roulette table has a spinning wheel with 37 pockets or slots. Thes slots are numbered from 1 to 36 and colored either red or black except
for a special "zero" slot that is marked with a green indicator. Players make bets on results of the round. The roulette wheel is spun and a ball is
thrown into it against the direction of spinning. When the ball settles down and rests in a specific slot, the number on the slot in which the ball
rests, is considered to be the winning number. All of these slots are identical and the position and order of the numbers are mathematically arranged
for even distribution by value, color, being odd or even, and being high or low, so that the ball has an equal chance of winding up in any one of these
slots.
The more intricate part of online roulette is its betting. The betting table consists of 2 pieces: the "Inside" portion and the "Outside" portion.
Bets that are made on the "inside" portion are called inside bets. Similarly, bets made on the "outside" portion are known as outside bets.
A roulette table is made of "inside" and "outside" betting fields, each of which functions differently. Roulette tables have composite maximum and
minimum table limits. Otherwise, players are not limited in their betting.
Other than in betting, there are no other rules in roulette. Once the bets are made and the wheel has been spun, there are no further choices that
players make.
When betting on the "inside", a player is required to make bets that at least add up to the minimum for the table.
The table is comprised of colored squares, from 1 to 36. Zero is the green square that is located on the inside table usually on top of the number
columns.
On the inside table, different combinations of bets are available. Combinations are only valid within the inner table.

Here are the types of Inside bets availablein Roulette:
When betting on the "outside", every player bet must be at least the table minimum.
"Zeroes" are not covered on Outside bets. Online casino roulette does not normally offer the surrender rule.

In this variant of Roulette, an American roulette table has a spinning wheel with 38 slots or pockets. The slots are numbered from 1 to 36 and colored red or black. Two special pockets, "zero" and "double zero", are designated by the color green. Players bet on a single condition or a group of conditions that the round will end with. The roulette wheel is spun and a ball is thrown into it against the direction of spinning. When the ball settles down and rests in a slot, the number on the slot that has caught the ball, is the winner. All slots are identical and once again, the numbers are mathematically arranged for even distribution by value, color, odd or even, and high or low, so the ball has an equal probability to end up in any of these slots.
