Grew up on Long Island (Massapequa, NY). Began a stand-up comedy career as soon as he graduated from Queens College. Career got a boost
by appearing on a Rodney Dangerfield HBO special in 1976. Further career boost with appearances on the Tonight Show with
Johnny Carson (1981), Late Show with David Letterman (1982), and the Merv Griffin Show. Appear 4 times as "Frankie" in the
TV sitcom Benson. Teamed up with stand-up comedian colleague Larry David in 1989 to create Seinfeld. Jerry was married in
